Checking out new Chinese spots close to home and came across Chan's. I ordered take out. Singapore Noodles Chicken fried rice Crab puffs Order was ready in 15 minutes, food was good, flavorful and fresh. The crab puffs though, were pretty mid/meh. We are going back for sure!
I can't believe it took me over 3 decades to discover this place. My friend kept raving about it, and wow, was she right! Though it looks divey on the outside, it has comfortable booths and is a nice quiet place to talk with friends or family. The servers are attentive and efficient, and they know their regulars. The food is AMAZING. My favorite dish is Sesame Chicken, which is a total umami bomb. Such deliciousness. Their Build-Your-Own Combo lets you choose 1 main course and any 3 sides from a long list. So you get exactly what you want. I also love their Hot & Sour soup, and sometimes get an extra order to take home. Don't miss this hidden gem!
This was the best food from Chans ever! I moved away from here a few years ago, so I haven't been there as much as I used to. The pork dumplins were fantastic! #15 flavors were on point! Ginger garlic ect.... szechuan beef fantastic! The only thing that was only ok egg rolls. Definitely will be traveling to get good food again. Service good also
I've driven by this place 100 times and never noticed it since it's off to the side and the name doesn't make me think of Chinese food. I ordered it today and everything was really good! $14 for a giant plate of food with rice, noodles, and an egg roll in addition to my entree. The guy who helped me with my takeout was very friendly. Definitely coming back
Don't expect much in looks from your no-frills neighborhood dive bar. Come often enough and you will see the same familiar faces. This was once our regular kick-it spot that we now go to on occasion. It's like we never left and it's always a good time, especially when Jay is bartending. Solid spot to watch sports. It can get pretty busy and you might not get a table, especially when there is karaoke. Food is decently priced and portions are generous. Service is top notch as Jay is always making sure everyone is cared for all whilst juggling numerous tasks, he deserves a raise!
Xiu Mai is freshing and it has shrimp inside. Hot chili dumplings are good too. Pepper oil is very Chinese authentic. Hot & spicy soup is a bit too sour for me but it could be neutralized by pepper oil. Overall, I love it!
HONEY PEPPER BEEF new special is my favorite! The quality of food, service, and entertainment at Chan's is so incredibly diverse. They have gluten free options for my Husband, Vegan food with out shellfish for my friends, and best all white meat chicken for me! Number #16 was always my favorite but I have grown to enjoy Mongolian Chicken and wonton soup! Wings are also a must get and fried potstickers. This place is a Food Gemstone. Five stars all the way. Thank you feeding us Chans they have the coolest fish, plants, and vibes.
